Delete Your Account and Data

Deletion is self-serve. You do not need to contact us, and it works the same way in the mobile app and on the web.

1. Go to Settings → Delete account — in the LIBERTASIAN mobile app, or under Settings → Security on libertasian.com.
2. Type DELETE to confirm, then enter your password. If you signed up with Google or Apple and have no password, confirm your account email address instead.
3. Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out everywhere.
4. We email you a single-use link that restores your account and everything in it. It works for 30 days. After that, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you cannot reach the in-app option — for example you have lost access to the device — email our Data Protection Officer at libertasianphilippines@gmail.com from the address on the account, with the subject line "Account deletion request." We verify ownership and process it the same way.

• Account information: Your name, email address, phone number, and password hash.
• Your content: Uploaded documents, camera scans, notes, annotations, bookmarks, digests you created, and workspace data — deleted within 30 days of your request or account closure.
• Search and AI history: Your saved search history and AI assistant prompts tied to your account.

To comply with Philippine law and for fraud prevention, some records are retained after account deletion, in de-identified form where possible:

• Account data recovery window: Retained for 30 days after your deletion request so the account can be restored with the emailed link if the request was made in error, then permanently deleted.
• Audit logs: Retained for a minimum of 2 years as required by the Philippine Data Privacy Act.
• Billing records: Retained for 5 years as required by Philippine tax law.
• AI model run records: Retained for 1 year for quality assurance and audit purposes.
• Search query logs: Anonymized after 90 days, with personal identifiers removed.

We do not sell your personal information, and camera scans and uploads are never used to train our AI models.
